The Analyst Current Favorites list is comprised entirely of stocks followed by RJ&A and is determined by each analyst’s favorite buy/sell idea at the current time. Clients should note that Analyst Current Favorites stocks are chosen with a short-term bias in mind, and therefore encourage each client to consider their own investment horizon and risk tolerance.
How to React to Changes in the Analyst Current Favorites
Additions: The addition of a stock to the Analyst Current Favorites is a clear indication that the analyst thinks it is the right time to buy/sell that stock.
Deletions: Removal from the Analyst Current Favorites does not serve as an impetus for selling that stock. Clients should consider any recent fundamental research on that stock, plus, of course,their investment objectives, before liquidating any positions in stocks deleted from the Analyst Current Favorites.
Criteria for the Analyst Current Favorites
- All analysts can participate, and can have one buy idea and one sell idea on the list at any given time.
- Favorite Buy stocks must be rated Strong Buy; if an analyst doesn’t have any Strong Buy ratings, then an Outperform-rated stock can be selected. Favorite Sell stocks must be rated Underperform.
